Have you heard the news? Certified Interior Designers in Minnesota are required to complete at least two continuing education hours specifically regrading the topic of professional ethics. The current reporting period ends June 30th 2018.
Seminar Details
This presentation with bolster Certified Interior Designers’ understanding of their rights, as well as their obligations, under the Minnesota Rule on Professionalism and ethics that apply to every design professional, help attendees understand the link between an ethical professional work and the protection of the public, evaluate case studies, and give attendees tools for identifying and handling ethical dilemmas on their projects and in their firms.
Learning Objectives
– Refresh your understanding of the Minnesota rule of professionalism and ethics
– Learn how to identify ethical dilemmas in practice both in the office and in the field
– Learn how to do the right thing when faced with ethical issues
– Use the Licensure Board’s Complaint Process
– Learn how ethical practice protects the public health, safety, and welfare
Continuing Education
2.0 IDCEC HSW credit hours. Based on our review, this program should also qualify for the ethics credits now required for Minnesota CID.
