What is BOLD?

Building Outstanding Leaders in Design by people of color for people of color matters. A mentorship program that addresses these nuances and shared experiences of the BIPOC design community. By creating strong leaders of color within the architecture and design industry will change the trajectory of the profession.

To provide mentorship for designers of color by designers of color so that they may excel in leadership and create a strong community as they grow in their careers. IIDA Northland, in partnership with MSP NOMA, is pleased to announce the B.O.L.D. (Building Outstanding Leaders in Design) mentorship program.

Mission Statement

Diversity in all aspects is good.  By creating strong leaders of color within the architecture and design industry we will change the trajectory of the architecture and design and create local changes that will ultimately lead to global impacts and spaces that are built for everyone and inclusive and safe for all.
