Target Center Forums Tour
Target Center was constructed in the late 1980’s when many arenas were totally closed off to the exterior and the building was at the edge of downtown Minneapolis. Since that time, downtown Minneapolis has grown dramatically. As a result, Target Center is now in the heart of the city.
The design approach recognizes this dramatic change in the downtown context, addressing improvements on all sides of the building. The design opens up the original building, simultaneously animating the experience for patrons inside the building while enlivening the exterior environment in this dynamic urban entertainment district in downtown Minneapolis.

Target Center is connected by skyway to Ramp A (7th Street Garage) and Ramp B (5th Street Garage). Simply park and proceed to the skyway level (Level 3) and walk across to Target Center. ABC Ramps rates vary $9-$15.

Any members who have registered for a Forum but do not attend will be charged the non-member fee for the event. To avoid this charge, contact the IIDA Northland Chapter via email within 48 hours of the program informing us you can’t attend. The goal of Forums programs is to have as many people attend the programs as possible. Due to capacity limits at events, programs often sell out quickly. Keeping our no-shows to as small as possible allows the program to be well attended and a success.
Refund Policy
Refunds will not be provided for members or non-members unless the event is cancelled.
