NCEF BLOCK PRINTING
Join us for an evening of Block Printing led by Lia Makousky, recipient of this year’s NCEF award.
The traditional and beautiful craft of Indian hand block printing comes alive at this year’s IIDA Northland Chapter Education Fund event.
Utilizing her award from the NCEF, Lia Makousky traveled to India where she learned the historical importance of the techniques used in Indian hand block printing. At this event, she will share her travel experiences and lead a workshop on pattern ideation, block production and printing techniques. Leave with your own block printed textile and a renewed inspiration to create!
