American Swedish Institute + Fluidity: Identify in Swedish Glass

This exhibition explores glass as a form of expression by artists on a journey of identity and self. From women artists among ASI’s glass collection to contemporary artists processing adversity, self-acceptance, and empowerment, Fluidity invites visitors to become a part of the community and to explore the pursuit of artistic expression in a challenging medium.  Our tour will be led by a member of the ASI staff who will lead us through the various rooms of the mansion. Members will be able to enjoy the mansion’s period rooms as well as the exhibit. Members will be able to explore the collection on their own after the exhibit until our events closing time of 7:00 p.m.
