(July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011)

IIDA Northland Chapter is pleased to announce its Board of Directors for 2010-2011

President: Jodie Leppa, IIDA, LEED AP

Immediate Past President: Deanne Erpelding, IIDA, LEED AP

President-Elect: Claudia Reichert

Claudia is currently Operating Manager and Principal for Nelson. She has been in our profession for thirty years. Claudia has been a member of IIDA and supported our industry throughout the years, and is currently a member of the Community Involvement Committee with NAIOP. In the past few years, Claudia believes she has seen a change in our industry, one that is becoming stronger and much more self-supportive. She feels she can bring a broad perspective to this role from her extensive experience and is excited for the opportunity to contribute to IIDA and the continued positive change she sees in our industry.

Sponsorship Chair: Daniel Shamp

Sponsorship Chair-Elect: Sara Socwell

Sara is an Account Manager with I Space Furniture. She has been a strong supporter of the Northland Chapter over the years, with various committee involvement including Fusion and our past years' Summer Party. She is currently a committee member for NAIOP and the Children's Home Society and Family Services, and volunteers her time with the Catalyst Community Partners. She strongly believes in our Chapter's mission to promote and enhance our profession and hopes she can contribute to its efforts.

Public Relations Chair: Melissa Metzler, IIDA

Public Relations Chair-Elect: Roslyn ZumBrunnen

Roslyn is currently an Interior Designer with Smith Group in Minneapolis. She feels that public relations is the direct link between our profession and society by educating the public of our impact on health, safety and well-being as well as informing professionals of social and environmental responsibility. Roslyn believes that public relations and program development go hand in hand. She has a passion for and extensive involvement in community causes. She has initiated the ZeroLandfill to the Twin Cities, established the IDI Tradeshow in 2006, and obtained Ray Anderson as keynote speaker in 2009, to name a few. In addition, she is Past President of Interior Designers of Idaho (IDI), Co-Chair of IDI Chair Affair, and a committee member of Programs for MNCREW. Roslyn is seeking this role so she can continue to contribute to the enhancement of our profession while creating a strong connection with her local community.

Student Affairs Chair: Abby Yosch

Student Affairs Chair-Elect: Ann Martin

Ann is an Account Executive with InterfaceFLOR. After receiving a B.S. Degree in Interior Design, she worked as an Interior Designer for 5 years with BKV Group. Having held different positions in our industry, Ann has seen first-hand where a degree can take you and is excited for the opportunity to work with students to help them see the possibilities. She has been an active supporter of IIDA, and last year served on the organizing team for the successful Ray Anderson event. Ann is honored to be considered for this role, and looks forward to the opportunity to build on the strong foundation of the Northland Chapter that has been developed in previous years.

Industry Chair: Aaron Eggert

Industry Chair-Elect: Julie Nelson

Julie currently works as a manufacturer's representative for DIRTT. Since receiving a B.S. in Interior Design in 1990, she has developed extensive experience through various roles, working as a facility planner with Medtronic, and with Facility Systems for 15 years. She has also held many leadership roles with her church, Normandale Lutheran, serving as one of the Stephen Ministry program's leaders. Julie has been an active supporter of IIDA and is interested in this role, because she feels the exposure to the various committees will align well with her ability to interface and connect with a variety of people.

Forums Chair: Nora Lewandowski

Forums Chair-Elect: Liza Kapisak

Liza is an Interior Designer with Ellerbe Becket. She has been a strong volunteer and supporter of our Industry for the past seven years. As a member of NEWH, she has served as Student Representative, Director of Fundraising, Programming, and VP of Chapter Development before serving as President for three years.
