IIDA Northland hosted its 9th annual charity fashion show on Friday, October 3rd.
This non-traditional runway show challenges participants to "Get Amplified." This year, entrants were asked to create couture ensembles inspired by music venues from around the world. The use of materials and finishes from the building design industry was strongly encouraged, but not required. In an effort to make a more charitable impact to the our local building and design industry, 30% of proceeds went to the Northland Chapter Education Fund, a fund within the IIDA Foundation, a 501c3, whose primary mission is to advance Interior Design through education, research, and knowledge to benefit IIDA and the Interior Design profession.
