Hosted by the IIDA Northland Chapter, the 11th annual FUSION fashion show event took place on Friday, October 15, 2010 at The Depot in downtown Minneapolis. Once again designers squared off against each other in a Project Runway type competition, where models showed off their creations on the runway and were judged by our esteemed panel of jurors. This year's competition introduced a new category, Zero Landfill Initiative, where designers were challenged to use discarded samples from Zero Landfill to create their look.
Introduced in 2000, FUSION unifies charity and design as a social event to raise money for a local charity. This year, IIDA has proudly chosen to benefit People Serving People, a local homeless shelter for families.
