On Monday, March 2 2009 over 70 members of the design industry joined IIDA Northland First Mondays in an inspirational program and tour of the 160,000 square-foot Cristo Rey Jesuit High School/ Colin Powell Leadership Center, designed and built by Ryan Companies. A state-of-the-art educational and recreational facility and home of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School and Urban Ventures Leadership Foundation.

This sold-out program began with an introduction by school leadership, explanation of the aggressive 13 month design and construction schedule and a reflection on the first year of operation. Attendees were then lead on a tour by the project designers through spaces that morph from vivid and playful to sacred and serene.
