On Monday, November 3rd, over 130 of your peers joined IIDA Northland Forums in the launch of our First Mondays series featuring interior design icon Eva Maddox.

Held at the Lab Theater in Minneapolis, Eva's lecture focused on design's role in cultural referencing and explored her extensive work with Haworth and Bank of America as well as her founding of Archeworks- a grassroots organization which searches for projects that contain the best opportunities for students to produce actionable big ideas. Whether designing for large corporations or underpriveledged youth, Eva eloquently demonstrated through her work that "design shapes the way we live. So it ought to serve everyone."

Maddox is a Principal of Perkins+Will and the founder of Perkins+Will | Eva Maddox Branded Environments. Ms. Maddox created the Branded Environments discipline, utilizing a research-based design approach that identifies & integrates a client's DNA into tangible brand expressions, experiences and environments.

Eva is frequently recognized for design excellence on an international basis, garnering over 100 awards to date. Her work has received the most "Big I" awards (thirteen) in the design industry.
